i take this article frn "sin chew daily" few days ago... it talk about hw long and wat the way to clean ur jean...
look at the part tat being highlighted, is say, wash ur jean at best once in every 6-12month... try to imagine, would u wear a jean tat dnt being wash since the pas 12month while u do wear it in regular basis...
the part on the right is the suggested way to protect ur jean color... it say deep ur jean in vineger fr haf an hour b4 wash then can reduse the color lose.... u think u wana try on a jean wit vbineger smell??
maybe it if really wanna maintain.

we wash them hard just to get that 'old-ragged' feel from it.
and even by doing that, a good jeans last for almost a decade.(if you can wear it for that long)
